私は、小さな頃から絵を描くことが大好きでした。ですが、両親の指示により法律家への道を進みました。仕事が多忙で二つの癌を経験し、一つは治療ができましたが、もう一つは手遅れで治療ができませんでした。病気以外でも私の人生に困難が続きました。それでも、自分の命の炎が消えかけても、「絵を描きたい」という心の中の情熱は消えたことはありませんでした。 年月が経ち、再び絵を描くチャンスが訪れ、今までの燃えていた情熱を一枚一枚に注ぎ込んでいます。 下の絵は未完成で、今後完成させるかもわかりませんが、子どもの頃の私が、母の作ってくれたお気に入りの紫のスカートを履き、大好きなウサギのぬいぐるみを抱きしめて、数々の苦痛に対して耐えている姿を描きました。この輝く翼は、苦痛に耐える私を包み込んでくれるもの＝絵を描くこと、を表現しています。 「光の子として歩みなさい」(聖書より)恩師が私が幼少のときに仰った言葉です。私は絵の中でもこの光を大事にしています。光を通して絵に空気感や音、味を表現していきたいと思っています。 私自身は、アートとは人を幸せにするもの、心を癒してくれるものと信じています。私が数々の困難を乗り越えているように、私の絵を通して、動物も人もみんなが理不尽に苦しめられることなく、幸せを感じてくれるようになることを願っています。 絵の売上金の一部は、動物保護団体や苦難の中にいる人々へ寄付をしております。
Story
I have loved drawing since I was a little girl. However, my parents directed me to pursue a career in law. I was very busy with work.I had two cancers, one was curable, but the other was too late and could not be treated. Apart from my illness, my life has been filled with suffering. Even though the flame of my life was dying out, the passion in my heart to paint was not extinguished.The years passed, and I was given another chance to paint again and I poured my burning passion into each painting. The painting on the right is not yet finished, and I don't know if I will ever finish it, but it is a picture of me as a child, wearing my favorite purple skirt that my mother made me, and hugging my favorite rabbit stuffed animal that my grandfather bought me, and enduring a lot of pain. These shining wings are my picture, and wrapping me from pain. “Live of Children of Light,”(is a quotation from the Bible) my former teacher told me when I was a child. Because I value this light in my paintings. I want to express atmosphere, sound, and taste in my paintings through light. I personally believe that art is something that makes people happy and heals their hearts. Just as I have overcome many difficulties, I hope that through my paintings, animals and people, will be able to feel happiness without suffering from unreasonableness. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of my paintings are donated to animal shelters and people in distress.
